Cooings Connect is a referral agency for live-in, daytime, and overnight postpartum care in your home. Here is who provides the care, how pricing is structured, and how an arrangement comes together.
Who provides the care
You choose your doula. She provides the care in your home. Cooings Connect introduces you, coordinates the arrangement, and holds your payment in a trust account until each care period is completed. Cooings Connect is not your doula's employer; depending on how you and your doula arrange the work, you may have employer responsibilities. We will explain this in writing before any introduction is made.
How pricing works
Every arrangement is priced in three lines: Doula Direct Compensation, agreed between you and your doula and confirmed on your Care Arrangement; Doula Referral & Coordination, a fixed percentage of the total that is stated in your agreement and negotiable; and Doula Care Planning & Advisory, an optional service from Cooings LLC that you can remove at any time. The total is written in your agreement before anything starts.

Tell us what you need
Your due date or your baby’s age, the kind of care you’re looking for (live-in, daytime, or overnight), the languages you speak at home, and where you live.
- Step 2
We introduce you to doulas who fit
We share the profiles of doulas who list on Connect and fit what you’ve told us. You meet them and decide who you’d like to work with.
- Step 3
You and your doula agree
Schedule, scope, and her compensation are settled between you and your doula and written into the Care Arrangement, with the referral and coordination line and any optional planning service stated alongside.
- Step 4
Care begins, payment released from trust
You pay into a trust account before each care period. When the period is complete, payment is released to your doula.
